Life at Home

The first night at home went ok....needs a little work but it wasn't so bad. All three of us just need to get used to the new schedule and keep Kaitlyn awake more during the day. Kaitlyn's first day at home was great. She got to play with all her new toys. It looked like Christmas at the Gardner house. Her first experience with her Boppy (which is awesome!) went very well: Day two brought on some exciting tummy time for Kaitlyn. I think she is indifferent about the whole thing:

Leaving the Hospital

Kaitlyn passed all her tests and her and mom were released from the hospital on July 29th. After 2 days I think everyone was ready to get out of the hospital and be at home. Here's Kaitlyn wearing her outfit for the big trip.

Kaitlyn Is Here

Born July 27, 2008 at 2:59 p.m. weighing 8 lbs 5 oz and 20.75 inches long.

The Day is Here...

but the baby is not! And there are no signs of labor yet. Kaitlyn may be comfortable in there but she's got to be running out of room. This is a photo of me on her due date so you can all get a good shot of the belly :)

Countdown

The due date (July 25) is fast approaching! We are both so ready for the baby to be here but she seems to be in no rush. So if she decides she is just too comfortable and wants to stay where she is...we have been scheduled to be induced on Monday, July 28. We are hoping she makes her appearance without the extra help but one way or another this baby will be here next week :)
