1st Birthday Party!

Maisie had a wonderful 1st Birthday Party! 

Thank you to everyone who came!  I know many of you live far away and couldn't make it so I wanted to include a post with lots of pictures of the Birthday Girl and her party!

I got pretty craft for this party and made lots of the decorations (and even the cake too)!  The theme was owls and everything was pink and yellow.  I was excited it turned out so well!

And then there was cake!

10 months

We have made our way into the double digits now!  10 whole months...only 2 more months before she is 1!  Maisie is getting so big!  She is now a walker!!!!  She can go about 5 feet at a time before falling and going again.  She loves to walk everywhere!  There is still only one lone tooth in her mouth but she barely eats any baby food anymore.  And I will tell you that she does love to eat!  She has moved out of her infant carseat because she maxed out the weight limit.  I can no longer carry a sleeping baby anywhere, now I have to wake her up everytime we get in or out of the car.  But she is enjoying riding in the carts more and checking everybody out as we go by.  Her 10 month stats are:  29 inches and 21.5 lbs.  (The pictures are a little better this month since I had a good helper to get some smile...thanks mom!)  I have also figured out something to help control her crazy hair!

Two in two days!!

Two posts in two days!!  I know, I'm getting a little crazy!  But we went to the park today and Maisie wore one of Kaitlyn's old outfits and I knew I had some pictures of Kaitlyn at the playground in it.  So here is a little then and now.  Kaitlyn is 10 months in the pictures and Maisie is 9.5 months.

I only had my iPhone so the ones of Maisie so the lighting isn't so good but it works! 

And, here is one of Maisie showing of her tooth!!

9 months

I know I'm a little behind in getting the 9 months up, but between moving, trying to get everything set up, getting Maisie to be still for pictures (which was pretty unsuccessful), and just going through the pictures...I'm a little slow.  But here is the update:

Weight:  20lbs 11oz
Length:  28 inches

We are in the new house and Maisie loves exploring everything! She finally got her first tooth on Easter! As of this posting it is still the only tooth she has. But let me tell you, that does not slow down her eating! She will stare you down until you give her your food! And she can eat most anything with that lone tooth. She is still standing a lot and walking when holding on...still hasn't braved the first step alone though.  Lots of waving to anyone that will wave at her.   She is good at playing...there are many times when she will go in the playroom and just play by herself or rummage through all the kitchen cabinets and entertain herself. I'm loving that except when the large mess follows :)

Again, I have failed with making her hair look good in these pictures...sorry!  Between trying to get her to be somewhat still and trying to get her to smile, I don't notice her hair until afterward and by then I have given up on a decent picture!
