Santa Claus

We went to visit Santa this morning and Kaitlyn wasn't too thrilled. She wasn't hysterical like the little girl in front of us but as you can see by the look on her face she is quite sure about the big guy in the red suit.

Happy Halloween and Happy 15 months! Kaitlyn has been under the weather most of the week. She came down with a high fever on Tuesday and double ear infections by Thursday. She has handled the sickness pretty well and was quite the cuddler through it all (which I was enjoying). She bounced back in time for Halloween and is running all around again. Her appointment on Thursday was supposed to be for her 15 months checkup so we did get the new measurements. We have to go back in a couple weeks for the fun shots. The Pumpkin Patch

We took our trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend and Kaitlyn loved running everywhere!

Key Largo

We took a quick trip to Key Largo over Labor Day weekend. Kaitlyn had a great time in the water and running around exploring everything!

One Year!

Kaitlyn is now a big one year old! She is walking, talking, and smiling like crazy! Here are her most recent numbers: length: 31 inches (95th percentile) weight: 21 lbs 11 oz (60th percentile) teeth: 10 bottles & pacis: 0

1st Birthday Party!

After Kaitlyn's Baptism we had a 1st Birthday Party for her. We had a ladybug theme for the party: It took her a little while but she was loving that cake: I took something away from her for a better picture...oops :) You can see all the teeth that are coming in now. She seems to be getting a new one everyday. She's smiling again real quick:

Baptism

Kaitlyn was baptized yesterday! We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful family that came to celebrate with us! Kaitlyn did great and was so excited to be the center of attention! The congregation loved her squealing as Connie was welcoming her to the church! Kaitlyn's gown was the one that I wore when I was baptized 30 years ago! It was made by my grandma and has lace trim detail that came from my mom's wedding dress! Our Family: All of Kaitlyn's Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins (we were missing Colin): All the Grandparents:

Move Outta My Way

Kaitlyn is now very mobile!! She has been taking steps on her own since the beginning of June but she is now definitely a walker!!

Summertime!

Being at home with Kaitlyn this summer has been great! We have been able to do many things together. Painting: Eating like a big girl (sort of): Playing with friends (Kaitlyn, Finley, Trey, and Taylor): Lots of swimming: Lots of smiling and funny faces:
