5 months

Kaitlyn hit the big 5 month mark on December 27th, the same day we found her first tooth!! Weight: 15 1/2 lbs Height: 26 inches This chair was my Gram's when she was a kid: (insert age comment here)

Then & Now

I got to spend some long awaited time with friends recently. These are girls I have been friends with for half my life...crazy to think. It was wonderful to be able to spend some time with such great friends! The girls played and talked to each other all afternoon: (Finley is 9 mos & Kaitlyn is 5 mos) Notice Finley's eye on the paci... almost there.. going for it... I'm just missing the picture where she actually swiped it out of Kaitlyn's mouth. Needless to say Kaitlyn was not too happy :)

The Preserve

On our 80 degree Christmas Day we decided to enjoy the weather and explore Robinson Preserve. This is a new preserve that is right down the road from my parents. We have lots of scenic pictures: Here's what Kaitlyn though of the place:

The Second Christmas

We had Christmas Eve night at my parents house with the whole family! The kids always keep you entertained!! Colin with his new camo bag: Ethan is trying to break through the layers of packaging...good luck: Fisher loved opening the presents: Kaitlyn is wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! Our little family: Kaitlyn lasted for about 15 minutes of Christmas before she crashed. (Don't worry we moved the blanket away from her face) We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We sure did!

The First Christmas

We had our first Christmas on Sunday since we will be out of town on Christmas Day. Kaitlyn had a great time... in her santa hat: eating everything in sight: playing with the paper: reading her book: turning pages of her book: (I expect to see more of this "my parent's are the biggest idiots in the world" look but hopefully not until she's a teenager) trying to figure out what in the world is going on: and she has had enough :) Little does she know this is just the beginning...more presents later this week!

Sweet Peas

I started solid foods a couple of weeks ago. So far I love everything!! I have tried carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, and finally...sweet peas! My mommy even makes all my food just for me! I start out nice and clean before I eat: Once I start eating, I can't get enough: I like to spit a little out and then chew on my bottom lip to savor the flavor! Doesn't everyone love pureed peas?!? Next I move on to the fruits!

Early Christmas Gift

So Kaitlyn got one of her big presents a little early this year...the exersaucer! Notice that her mouth is open in amazement in every photo! She absolutely loves it...she gets to stand and play all by herself!! Exactly the reason her daddy loves it too! He doesn't even mind that it is pink and whoa...it is PINK!
