Trek Out West - Colorado

We made it back from our whirlwind trek of Denver, Moab, and Yellowstone. We have a gazillion pictures, many of which will bore you to tears. Since there are so many I am breaking down the posts into sections in order to get them up a little faster. This first synopsis is all about our stop in Colorado. On Friday, June 25, we set out on trip exploring the Western U.S. We flew out of Ft. Lauderdale with what felt like everything we own. We had a peaceful direct flight into Denver. We spent the afternoon checking out Denver and taking a tour of the Great Divide Brewery. After trying to figure out what to do Saturday we decided we would rent a car and head up to Rocky Mountain National Park. We spent the say there checking out the sites, taking pictures, and playing in the snow. We finished the day with dinner at the Rocky Mountain Diner just down the street from our hotel. The next morning we loaded up and set off on an 8 hr scenic train ride from Denver, CO to Grand Junction, CO. The trip was nice but trying telling a 2 year old it's time for a nap when there is so much going on. The meltdown came later in the afternoon. We all made it and were on our way to get the rental car for the next stop...
